So discreet, no one will know you’re having treatment.
Invisalign is a system that straightens your teeth using a series of virtually invisible, clear plastic aligners. These aligners replace metal bands and wires meaning that no one will know you are wearing braces, unless you tell them!
How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign is a clear removable system that straightens your teeth using a series of virtually invisible, clear plastic aligners. These clear aligners replace metal bands and wires meaning that no one will know you are wearing braces, unless you tell them!.
Your custom-made aligners are sent to your orthodontist who will instruct you to wear each aligner for up to two weeks before replacing it with the next. This continues until the end of your treatment with periodic visits to the orthodontist in order to check your treatment progress.
Invisalign for all ages
Invisalign aligners fit perfectly into a teenager’s life too. They ensure there is no need to be self-conscious any longer when out socially, for school photos, and when posting pictures online. Invisalign’s clear plastic aligners snap on your teeth easily, are comfortable and practically invisible. They allow room for your growing permanent teeth whilst gently and continuously moving your teeth in small movements.
We can also treat younger patients with Invisalign as well. Invisalign First aligners have been designed to widen arches in patients between the ages of seven and 11 who present with early orthodontic issues. Invisalign First treatment can help reduce the extent of orthodontic treatment required during the teenage years.
What are the benefits of Invisalign?
We can use Invisalign® to treat a range of common orthodontic problems in adults and children, such as crowded or widely spaced teeth. Even some more complex cases can be treated including overbites, overjets, underbites and even crossbites. Our team can use Invisalign® for all or part of most treatment plans. A consultation will determine the best course of treatment for you.
What’s more, not only are Invisalign aligners clear, comfortable and effective, they are removable too, so you can brush, floss and eat as usual. And, because you can remove your aligners to eat and drink you can eat all your favourite foods. After each meal you must brush your teeth prior to re-inserting your aligners to maintain good hygiene.
Another benefit of Invisalign is the speed at which the aligners work to move your teeth into a straighter position. On average, traditional braces take between 18 and 24 months to achieve the desired results, whereas Invisalign aligners only take between 12 and 18. If you only have minor corrections required of the front six teeth, then Invisalign Express aligners could work their magic in as little as three months!
